March 18 marks one year since pro-abortion radical Xavier Becerra was confirmed as President Joe Biden’s appointee for secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Although both men claim to be faithful Catholics, they have launched unprecedented attacks on people of faith by eliminating vital conscience and religious freedom protections and funneling millions of taxpayer dollars to the abortion industry.

Senate Confirms Abortion Extremist Shalanda Young

Biden’s new director of the Office of Management and Budget is another radical supporter of abortion. Why does this matter?

With a disappointing vote of 61-36, the Senate confirmed pro-abortion extremist Shalanda Young as the director of the Office of Management and Budget this past Tuesday.

As we have previously pointed out, the issue with Young isn’t merely that she is “pro-choice,” as is virtually every liberal Democrat. The problem with Young is that she is in favor of forcing every American to fund abortion with their tax dollars and also sees no issue with forcing all health care workers to participate in carrying out abortions, even if they have religious or moral objections.

For Young, repealing the Hyde Amendment—which prohibits taxpayer funding from paying for abortion in Medicaid—is an issue of “racial justice.”

Republicans Condemn Biden’s Abortion Agenda: We Must “Protect Innocent Children”

The Biden administration adds a new task force to encourage abortions world-wide, calling it “health care.”

More than 50 House Republicans asked the Biden administration for answers this month about a new task force established to promote the killing of unborn babies in abortions world-wide. In a letter to HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, U.S. Rep. Buddy Carter, of Georgia, condemned the task force as a “direct assault” on states’ rights and unborn babies’ lives.

“I sent a letter to Secretary Becerra raising concern that his pro-abortion task force endangers unborn lives,” Carter said Tuesday. “This task force is a direct assault on states’ work to protect innocent children and must be stopped. Thank you to the 53 House Republicans who signed this letter.”

In their letter Thursday, Republican lawmakers asked Becerra for answers about the new project, including who will be on the task force and whether taxpayers’ money will be used to undermine states’ and other countries’ authority to pass pro-life laws.

“We adamantly disagree with your premise – abortion is not health care. Abortion robs a person of health and life itself,” Carter and 52 lawmakers told Becerra.

They cited a recent Marist poll that found 73 percent of Americans oppose taxpayer funding for abortions in other countries and 54 percent in the U.S.

Ketanji Brown Jackson Represented Pro-Abortion Groups Trying to Shut Down Pro-Life Free Speech

Joe Biden’s Supreme Court nominee may lack the experience and scholarly credentials of a high court justice, but she meet’s one of Joe’s most important qualifications, she is absolutely pro-abortion!

“In nominating Ketanji Brown Jackson, President Biden is selecting a judicial activist for the Supreme Court,” said Kelly Shackelford, president of First Liberty Institute. “Her record from the beginning of her career shows hostility to religious liberty, free speech, and other constitutional rights. The American people do not want a liberal extremist on the Supreme Court. If confirmed, Judge Jackson’s judicial activism will place the constitutional rights of all Americans in jeopardy.”

“Ketanji Brown Jackson is backed by many of America’s most radical pro-abortion groups,” Dannenfelser said. “She is on record opposing the free speech rights of pro-life advocates pleading to save lives outside abortion centers and supporting the false claim that abortion is ‘health care.’ We have no doubt she will work with the most pro-abortion administration in history to enshrine abortion on demand nationwide in the law.”

Joe Biden Nominates Radical Abortion Activist to Head Global Women’s Issues

Here is another example of Biden appointing an abortion radical to a key post.

Planned Parenthood is celebrating after President Joe Biden nominated another abortion activist to his administration, this time to the Office of Global Women’s Issues in the U.S. Department of State.

His nominee, Geeta Rao Gupta, has spent years advocating for abortion across the globe while working for powerful groups like the United Nations and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, according to C-Fam. She is described as a gender and development expert.

WHO Issues Guidelines Supporting Abortion Without Limits

The World of Health Organization (WHO) obviously does not care for the health and well being of the unborn. WHO’s handling of the initial outbreak of Covid-19 has been widely questioned. This is another reason to question the organization’s usefulness.

The World Health Organization (WHO) released new guidelines last week regarding abortion, with the radically pro-abortion organization urging countries to not only legalize abortion, but to make it available throughout the entire pregnancy with no restrictions. The WHO is also pushing for telemedicine abortion.

The new guidelines essentially call for the removal of all restrictions on abortion globally, arguing that abortion should be available through all nine months of pregnancy and that physicians should not be the only people allowed to commit the deadly procedures. The WHO advocates against parental consent laws, waiting periods, and any limitations whatsoever.

Abortion by Thesaurus: A Professional Guide

Clearly, American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) is working hard to instruct medical personnel on the use of proper politically correct language. Here is an example:

According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), Luke 1:42 should read, “And when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the fetus leaped in her uterus.” Does that sound too extreme? Uncharitable? Check out their “Guide to Language and Abortion” released this month. It argues against using terms like “baby” or “unborn child” because “centering the language on a future state of a pregnancy is medically inaccurate.” They say doctors should instead use “embryo” through eight weeks, and then “fetus.” Another term declared off-limits is “womb” because it “is a non-medical term that can be used to apply an emotional value to a human organ.” They prefer “uterus.” Combine these unnecessary word substitutions with the bible verse, and you get the above, ridiculous result.

Why a Poor Understanding of the Church Leads to More Abortions

A recent study by Lifeway Research shows churches may need to re-think how they respond to unplanned pregnancies and abortions among their membership.

As the study shows, unwillingness to open up about unplanned pregnancies in the church isn’t a matter of churches failing to preach forgiveness for abortion. Unwillingness to open up about abortion is due to rejection and condemnation from the people of God. Unloving, unwelcoming, ungracious, and un-Christlike church cultures are why men and women don’t tell people in their churches about unplanned pregnancies. And if they don’t tell those in the church about their unplanned pregnancies, they’re more likely to come to the decision to abort.
