Are you concerned about the amoral direction of our culture and how it will affect your children and grandchildren? Are you concerned about the increasing attacks on Christianity, family, and traditional moral values? Christianity is under attack by a culture that has lost its way. Moral values are eroding, truth is twisted and reshaped to support irrational movements like those fueled by critical race theory. These threats come not only from outside the church, but also from within. Many Mainline denominations are now apostate, denying central teachings of the Christian faith. Attempting to answer apostate churches, well-meaning congregations proclaim a weakened gospel of “deeds not creeds” making them easy prey to the latest false teaching.
Readers of this blog will find help and encouragement in living out their faith amidst the moral decline of our culture. I will offer insight, information, commentary, and suggestions for action. This blog will address a variety of issues including but not limited to religious freedom, attacks on traditional values, the growing culture of death (abortion, euthanasia, assisted suicide), misuses of biotechnology, attacks on the family, and more. I will do this by applying the principles of loving God with all your mind. (Matthew 22:37)
I am passionate about helping Christians understand what they believe, and why they believe it. I am concerned about how false teachings like the prosperity gospel, positive thinking preachers like Joel Osteen, and false religions such as Mormonism and Jehovah’s Witnesses easily lead uninformed Christians astray. It pains me to watch once faithful Christians led down the path of apostasy.
One of my teachers wrote: “If we are going to be wise, spiritual people who are prepared to meet the crisis of our age, we must be a studying, learning community that values the life of the mind.” (J. P. Moreland, Love God with All Your Mind, 2012, p.40).
It is my prayer that my writing will contribute to Dr. Moreland’s challenge.

Francis Szarejko holds a B.A. from Villanova University, a Master’s degree in public administration from the Pennsylvania State University, and a M.A. degree in Christian apologetics from Biola University. He also holds several professional designations earned during his long career in financial services. During his career, Fran held leadership positions in both government and business. As a lay leader in his church, he has taught Bible studies for over 40 years. Fran has been active in the pro-life movement for over 25 years and speaks regularly about pro-life and bioethics issues from a Christian worldview.
Fran is a member of the Evangelical Philosophical Society, the Evangelical Theological Society, and a Fellow of The Center for the Study of the Great Ideas. He is the author of one book and several articles on Christian life.
