A Personal Note on Those Who Served in Afghanistan
Our son, John, served in Afghanistan. Part of his job was to meet with the Afghan people and to provide them with help. He returned whole, but I am distressed by how easily the Biden administration has discarded all the efforts, blood and sacrifice of American soldiers to satisfy his political whims! And, let us not forget how we have now abandoned those who helped and supported our troops. John worked with local interpreters, who are likely now the prey of the Taliban. Pray for the people of Afghanistan.
