Abortion After Roe
Abortion after Roe continues. On 1/22/1973 the Supreme Court issued the Roe v. Wade decision legalizing abortion in the United States. Since then, they have slaughtered 64 million unborn children on this altar of the sexual revolution. To put the holocaust in perspective that is almost 20% of the current population of the United States, or just eliminate the states of California and Pennsylvania.
On June 24, 2022, the Supreme Court, ruling on the Dobbs case, rightly struck down Roe v. Wade. So why am I writing a post to tell you that the fight to stop abortion isn’t over?
The short answer, babies’ lives are being ended in the womb every day!
I Thought that Abortion After Roe was Now Legislated at the State Level
Well, yes, and no.
Abortion is illegal from conception in my home state of Missouri and 12 other states except for medical emergencies such as ectopic pregnancies.
In neighboring Kansas, a measure to ban abortion failed in the November 2022 election. And the battle to ban abortion continues in many other states.
(Time for me to rant! I live in Kansas City, MO and during election cycles I see campaign ads from both Missouri and Kansas. In the Missouri Senate race and the Kansas Governor’s race, abortion access played a prominent role, as well in the Kansas abortion ban ballot measure. Ads for the Democrat candidates and the pro-abortion faction in Kansas consistently lied by portraying laws to prohibit abortion do not protect the life of the mother. Every time I heard this lie I wanted to throw something at the TV screen but fortunately I restrained myself!)
Yes, Americans in every state across the country—and their elected leaders—now have the power to choose whether they will protect the most vulnerable through laws banning—or at least restricting; abortion. But the fight against abortion after, Roe goes beyond the states.
Abortion After Roe at the National Level
First, consider what President Joe Biden had to say on the day the Supreme Court overturned Roe.
The Hill reported Biden criticized the ruling as a “tragic error” and slammed the court as “extreme.” “It’s a sad day for the country in my view, but it doesn’t mean the fight’s over,” Biden said at the White House soon after the ruling.
He urged Congress to pass a pro-abortion bill that would force states to legalize abortion on demand again and force taxpayers to pay for abortions.
The Democrat-controlled U.S. House passed the bill, but the U.S. Senate narrowly rejected it in September.
Biden said voters can change that if they elect more pro-abortion lawmakers to Congress in November. “This fall, we must elect more senators and representatives who will codify a woman’s right to choose into federal law,” he said. “We need to elect more state leaders to protect this right at the local level. We need to restore the protections of Roe as law of the land.”
Clearly, the Biden administration will do everything it can to allow the killing of more unborn children.
Abortion After Roe, A Story You May Have Missed
If you only get your news from the major networks or CNN, you probably are unaware of this story. It illustrates just how intense this fight over abortion has become.

Mark Houck has no criminal record. He is a peaceful, Roman Catholic man with a passion to save unborn babies from abortion. Yet on an early Friday morning about two dozen FBI agents showed up at this Kintnersville, PA home, with weapons drawn, pounding on the door, and demanding that Houck open.
Soon the armed agents, who had a battering ram ready for use if Houck hadn’t opened the door, were inside and pointing the weapons at Houck, his wife, and seven children.
With this kind of law enforcement presence, you would expect Houck to a domestic terrorist or a violent criminal. No, they arrested him for an alleged violation of the federal Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, known as the FACE Act. His conviction could result in a maximum penalty of “11 years in prison, three years of supervised release and fines of up to $350,000.”
So, What Nefarious Crime Did Mark Houck Commit?
Houck regularly drives 2 hours to pray in front of a Philadelphia abortion clinic and he often takes his 12-year-old son with him.
On more than one occasion, a clinic volunteer verbally abused Houck’s son. The incident leading to the arrest occurred when Houck, after telling the man to stop abusing his son, pushed the volunteer away. The man fell and his “injury” required a band-aid on a finger.
Some interesting facts about the case brought against Mark Houck:
- The incident occurred on October 21, 2021, and it took the Justice Department 337 days to indict Houck.
- The left-leaning, George Soros backed, Philadelphia District Attorney chose not to file charges against Houck, and they threw out a civil case brought against him out of court.
- The indictment was 91 days after the Supreme Court decided on Dobbs.
- There were 49 days between the indictment and the mid-term elections.

Abortion After Roe—The Rest of the Mark Houck Story, Good News
A Philadelphia jury has found pro-life father Mark Houck not guilty on both counts in the case of the bogus charges the Biden administration filed against him. Houck is facing bogus charges that he violated the federal FACE law when he was helping women outside an abortion center.
Breen [Houck’s Attorney] added: “The jury saw through and rejected the prosecution’s discriminatory case, which was harassment from day one. This is a win for Mark and the entire pro-life movement. The Biden Department of Justice’s intimidation against pro-life people and people of faith has been put in its place.”
The Biden Administration Continues to Cheerlead for Abortion After Roe
Joe Biden likes to proclaim that he is a “good” Catholic.
But he certainly doesn’t adhere to the staunch pro-life teaching of the Roman Catholic church. He may well be the most pro-abortion president in history. And given Barack Obama’s record, that is indeed high praise from the pro-abortion crowd.
I’ve already shared what Biden said about the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Here are some examples of what his administration is doing to encourage the killing of more unborn babies.
Executive Order Promoting Abortion on Demand
In response to the U.S. Supreme Court’s upending of Roe v. Wade in its June 24 Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization decision, President Joe Biden signed an executive order today “protecting access to reproductive health services.”
The all-hands-on deck order will support abortion on demand until the moment of birth.
In a fact sheet released early Friday morning, the Oval Office said it would direct the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) to protect and expand access to “medication abortion” while also ordering the Attorney General and the White House Counsel to “convene private pro bono attorneys, bar associations, and public interest organizations” to provide legal counsel for women seeking abortions and doctors committing abortions.
The White House statement also reiterated that immediately following the Supreme Court decision, the Biden administration promised to fight any “attack by a state or local official who attempts to interfere with women exercising this right.”
Biden Admin Says Post Office Can Violate Abortion Bans, Mail Dangerous Abortion Pills to Pro-Life States
The Biden administration just gave the okay for the U.S. Postal Service to ignore state abortion bans and send abortion drugs through the mail in all 50 states. The Hill reports the U.S. Department of Justice issued the legal opinion to the U.S. Postal Service and independent mail services Tuesday in response to several recent Biden administration decisions that allow abortion drugs to be sold through the mail or at a pharmacy. Previously, the abortion drug mifepristone could only be dispensed by abortion facilities, medical offices and hospitals under the supervision of a licensed medical professional.
Biden Administration’s New Website Directs Minors to Abortion Businesses
The pro-abortion activists infesting the White House were obviously ready for Roe to be undone and launched this Website on the same day the Supreme Court handed down the Dobbs decision. After all, there must be no delay in killing unborn babies!
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has created a new website aimed at directing Americans to abortion and contraception, including minors. It had been developed ahead of time in preparation and anticipation of the Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization overturning Roe v. Wade and launched the same day, June 24. The website, ReproductiveRights.gov, tells women and girls that they have a “right to access abortion” and warns them that since Roe has been overruled, the level of abortion access is going to vary more than before from state to state. It also says the abortion pill is safe (though it’s been found to be four times more dangerous than a first-trimester surgical abortion) and available to be mailed to them at their homes. With the development of the new government website, the Biden Administration has made it easier for young girls to access abortion and for predators to find abortion options for their victims.
The site appears to be part of the administration’s plan to expand abortion in any way possible, as discussed by HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, who said “all options are on the table” when it comes to protecting abortion accessibility.
Abortion After Roe–Welcome to Your VA Hospital Abortion Clinic
Joe Biden announced today that his administration will illegally turn VA hospitals into abortion centers, in a move that breaks federal law. The Department of Veterans Affairs said Friday it plans to kill babies in abortions in cases of rape or incest or in cases where the mother’s life or health is in danger, even though doctors repeatedly say abortions are never medically necessary. The VA says babies will be killed in abortions “regardless of state restrictions” — which means VA hospitals will become abortion centers even in pro-life states that have banned abortions.
The last part means that babies will be killed in abortions in cases of rape or incest merely on the word of the woman seeking the abortion, without any report to law enforcement in order to apprehend the rapist or proof that rape or incest had occurred. Senator James Lankford, a pro-life Republican from Oklahoma, says the move is illegal and previously sent a letter to Secretary of Veterans Affairs (VA) Denis McDonough to share his concerns. Specifically, Biden’s move is illegal under federal law. Section 106 of the Veterans Health Care Act of 1992 prohibits the VA from providing abortions.
In addition, the Administration has also floated the idea of opening abortion facilities on U.S. Military bases.
Another Biden Executive Order – Let’s Use Tax Dollars to Pay for Abortion Travel
After the Supreme Court’s recent decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, President Joe Biden directed his administration to find ways to provide increased access to abortions. That includes potentially funneling taxpayer dollars to transport women and girls who live in states with stricter abortion laws across state lines into states with more lenient ones.
Biden’s Aug. 3, 2022, executive order “Securing Access to Reproductive and Other Healthcare Services,” directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to consider action to advance access to reproductive healthcare services, including through Medicaid for patients who travel out of state for reproductive healthcare services.”
Abortion After Roe—Give ’em All the Abortion Pills They Want
In the wake of the first national March for Life since the overturning of Roe v. Wade, President Biden issued a memorandum instructing government agencies to ensure access to the abortion pill across the country.
“My Administration remains committed to supporting safe access to mifepristone, consistent with applicable law, and defending women’s fundamental freedoms,” the memo states. “Defending and protecting reproductive rights is essential to our Nation’s health, safety, and progress. It is the policy of my Administration to protect against threats to the liberty and autonomy of those who live in this country.”
The announcement ordered the HHS, DHS, and Attorney General to “consider issuing guidance for patients seeking legal access to mifepristone, as well as for providers and entities, including pharmacies, that provide reproductive healthcare and seek to legally prescribe and provide mifepristone.”
Another Biden Perk—Just Go To Your Local Pharmacy and Pick Up an Abortion Pill
Continuing to do all he can to overrule state abortion bans, “good Catholic” Joe Biden’s administration has co-opted pharmacies like CVS and Walgreens to be purveyors of abortion pills. According to Family Resource Council President Tony Perkins:
“The Biden administration has now turned to neighborhood pharmacies to do their bidding on abortion. CVS and Walgreens have indicated they will follow the lead of the Biden FDA and essentially turn their neighborhood pharmacies into abortion facilities. This is a very risky venture for these national pharmacies.”
The Department of Justice and Abortion After Roe
On Monday, U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland strongly downplayed the rights of states to establish their own pro-life legislation, saying that the Department of Justice is “monitor[ing] state laws and enforcement actions to ensure that states do not infringe on federal protections of reproductive rights.” Experts are pointing out the brazen nature of Garland’s comments in the wake of the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision last June, which overturned Roe v. Wade.
Biden Administration Contemplates Declaring Abortion Emergency
For the Biden administration, not having enough access to murder unborn babies is a national health crisis!
Good God!
Abortion is not health care no matter what the pro-abortion lobby tries to conjure up!
This almost belongs in the “you can’t make this stuff up” file under stupidity.
Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra said Monday that his department is conducting “an evaluation” about whether to declare a public health emergency declaration regarding abortion.
The evaluation comes amid a “discussions on a wide range of measures,” explained Becerra, and the department has yet to conduct a “full assessment.” Still, the concept has developed far enough that the secretary chose to float the possibility of an emergency declaration publicly. HHS did not respond to a request for comment about the status and nature of its assessment.
Abortion After Roe—Beyond the Biden Attack
The Biden administration is not alone in its frenzy to promote abortion. Here are some more examples.
Warren, Democrats Pledge to Fine, ‘Crack Down’ on Pro-Life Crisis Pregnancy Centers
Now that Roe is dead, crisis pregnancy centers become a target for the pro-abortion crowd.
U.S. Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bob Menendez are leading a coalition of pro-choice politicians in pledging to “crack down on false advertising” from pro-life pregnancy resource centers by limiting what they can say about abortion. Warren and Menendez introduced a bill known as the Stop Anti-Abortion Disinformation Act that directs the Federal Trade Commission to issue rules prohibiting a “person from advertising with the use of misleading statements related to the provision of abortion services.” It also gives the FTC power to issue hefty fines and sue pregnancy resource centers – also known as crisis pregnancy centers – in court.
“It’s more important than ever to crack down on so-called ‘crisis pregnancy centers’ that mislead women about reproductive health care,” Warren said. “I’m working in the Senate to stop these deceptive practices and ensure every American can access the abortion care they need.”

Woke, Corporate America and Abortion After Roe
Can’t get an abortion in your state. Maybe you work for a Woke company who has added a new perk. Paying for your abortion travel costs.
Among these “caring” companies are Dick’s Sporting Goods, Disney, Warner Bros., Meta, Paramount, and Netflix.
Abortion After Roe Violence
If you are a Catholic church or a pro-life organization, you may be the target for vandalism, fire-bombing, and desecration.
At least 95 Catholic churches, 75 pregnancy centers and pro-life offices have been attacked since the Dobbs decision.
More Arrests of Pro-Life Advocates
The Federalist reports the FBI recently indicted 22 pro-life advocates for alleged violations of the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act. Some even had their homes raided by FBI agents in front of their children even though they promised to cooperate with authorities.
These arrests and the seeming lack of investigations and charges against abortion activists have many accusing the Biden administration of weaponizing federal law enforcement against political opponents.
Pro-life advocates said they were non-violent and non-threatening, and their goal was to encourage pregnant mothers to choose life for their babies. However, they all face up to 11 years in prison and a quarter-million dollar fine for their alleged crime.
Abortion After Roe—Some Good News (Maybe)
The House has finally passed the Born-Alive Act that Nancy Pelosi led Democrats, blocked dozens of times.
Under the proposed act, healthcare providers would have to provide the same level of care to an infant born alive despite an abortion as would be given to a child born alive at the same gestational age. Violations of the proposed law would carry fines, up to five years in prison time, or both.
While surviving an abortion is rare, approximately 1,700 babies survive abortion every year.
The Senate still needs to pass the bill, and if it surpasses that hurdle Joe Biden is likely to veto it.
The most telling thing about the vote is that 210 Democrats voted against it.
The 210 Democrats who voted against medical care for newborn babies hold an inhumane, inconceivable and indefensible position. Rep. Suzanne Bonamici, D-Ore., who voted against the bill, called the legislation “extremist, dangerous and unnecessary.” Try telling that to the newborn baby struggling to breathe on a table after almost being aborted. I must ask: What’s so extreme about wanting to require doctors to treat a baby?
Folks, these representatives voted to support infanticide. Keep that in mind the next time you go to the polls.
Abortion After Roe – What Can We Do
First, pray. Pray for God to give us godly leaders and change the hearts of those who are pro-abortion.
Second, vote pro-life. I am not usually a one issue voter, but seeing what lies ahead in the fight to end abortion, I am more inclined to vote that way.
Third, support pro-life pregnancy resource centers with your money and your time.
Fourth, support pro-life organizations.
Fifth, be informed and educated on pro-life issues. See the resources I’ve listed below.
Fifth, be unabashedly pro-life. Don’t be afraid to let family, friends, and coworkers know you are pro-life and why you are pro-life.
