In contrast to many of my posts that address difficult topics, it is time for some good news. Yes, the culture war rages. But God is still in control and there is much good news to rejoice about.

100 Farmers, Neighbors Help Harvest Iowa Farmer’s Crops After He Died Suddenly from Cancer

In a culture becoming more and more focused inwardly on self-fulfillment, we find an example of community selflessness we would all do well to emulate.

When an Iowa farmer died suddenly and unexpectedly from lung cancer, his neighbors rallied together within days to reap the corn crops he left behind. His family, deeply humbled, are grateful for the tight-knit community that showed their love and saved their harvest.

Father and Twin Sons Chop and Deliver Firewood to Vulnerable People for 5th Year in a Row

Another example of people giving of themselves to help others less fortunate.

A Washington father of eight and his twin sons are helping heat homes for the holidays by chopping and delivering firewood to veterans, the sick, and people who are down on their luck. The father’s winter mission started five years ago, and this season it’s stronger than ever.

Couple Shares Journey of Faith, Hope, and Commitment Through 3 Miscarriages

A story of love, faith, and marital commitment. This story hit close to home as my daughter- and daughter-in-law suffered multiple miscarriages. I look forward to meeting my unborn grandchildren when I leave this life.

The loss of a child through miscarriage is one of the most painful events that parents can go through. Unfortunately, while so many parents experience pregnancy loss, most do so silently and don’t have anyone guiding them through the grief that follows.

Virginia-based couple Leah and Tim Shirey, after having lost three children tragically to miscarriage, shared with The Epoch Times how they were able to grow stronger together, lean on God, and find hope to move forward despite the tremendous grief they suffered and the loneliness they often felt along the way.

‘A Little Whisper from God’: Real-Life Mom From ‘5,000 Blankets’ Reveals How Son’s Simple Question Sparked Incredible Quest to Help Homeless

I will refrain from commenting on this wonderful story as you need to read it and see why I was in tears as I read this.

The film specifically explores mom Cyndi Bunch’s real-life plight after her husband had a mental breakdown and she and her young son, Phillip, went to find him.

As they took to the streets to search for him, they saw the homeless in desperate need — and that eye-opening experience sparked a movement of compassion. Cyndi Bunch, whose story inspired the film, told CBN’s Faithwire how it all came to fruition.

Fox News’ Pete Hegseth: As a Father, ‘The Only Thing That Matters Is Introducing’ My Kids ‘To Jesus Christ’

Christian parents and grandparents can learn from this example.

Pete Hegseth, anchor of “Fox & Friends Weekend,” is known for boldly sharing his perspective on myriad cultural and political issues. But that’s not what matters most to him.

Speaking recently with CBN’s Faithwire, the 42-year-old Hegseth said using his platform to share his Christian faith is the most valuable use of his time and resources — a realization sparked, in large part, by his role as a father.

4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4–7 ESV)
