It is time for some good news. Yes, the culture war rages. But God is still in control and there is much good news to rejoice about.

For the Love of All That Is Holy, Stop Backing Into Parking Spaces

I’ll begin with some humor. How many times have you stopped in a crowded parking lot while another driver slowly backs into a parking spot they could easily have pulled directly into? I could feel this author’s pain as I read his piece.

Having traveled to this same establishment hundreds of times over a period of years, I’ve noticed a dramatic change in driver behavior, and one that has made running errands rather trying. I don’t want to overstate the problem, but after years of close study, I have arrived at the conclusion that people who back into parking spaces are history’s greatest monsters.

‘Little Fighter’ Preemie Baby Thrives After Surgeons Remove Spinal Tumor That Was Twice Her Weight

Many in our culture of death allow a child born with such medical problems to die if they had not already aborted her before birth. But not these parents or doctors. Read the article for the good news.

A premature baby girl is thriving months after she was saved by doctors who removed a rare spinal tumor weighing twice her weight at birth.

The tiny infant was born weighing 1,025 grams (2.25 pounds) with a 2-kilo (4.4 pounds) sacrococcygeal teratoma—a tumor growing out of her tailbone. It’s a condition that is said to occur in just one out of 40,000 live births.

How These Parents Helped Their Son Reject Transgender Ideology

Transgender ideology dominates much of the Biden administration’s policies. Social media fills young minds with lies about gender. Major hospitals profit from mutilating children in the name of gender transformation. Peers and teachers pressure children to question their sexuality.

This story is the good news of how parents helped their son overcome these forces and acknowledge his God-given true nature.

By his early teens, Brandon was scouring the internet for information on transgender ideology. So, what did his parents do?

First, they made sure he knew they loved him just the way he was. They did not try to change him. When I was in seminary, one of my fellow students was a former homosexual, and he told me, “When I was young, I liked art and poetry, and my father kept trying to ‘toughen me up’ by pushing me into sports and other more traditionally male activities.”

But Brandon’s parents did not pressure him to be different. They told him it is perfectly acceptable to be a gentle, emotional, relational boy. It did not mean he was really a girl.

Michigan Sisters Run a Thriving Flower Farm, Credit Faith and Family for Their Success

This is a story about how faith and family can overcome obstacles that would cause many to give up their dreams.

Two Michigan sisters, one of whom has cerebral palsy, have made a shared dream a reality by starting their own flower farm. With a sprig for every season, their venture is going from strength to strength.

Sisters Britney, 34, and Emily Zondlak, 31, grew up in a farming family in West Michigan, where they still live. Bound close by sisterhood and faith, they launched their passion project, Two Sisters Flower Farm, together in Byron Center, Michigan. Today, their farm is thriving.

Sad 53-Year-Old Cockatoo Rescued From a Basement Is Now in Love With Her New Owner’s Baby

God requires us to care for animals and treat them humanely. I also believe God gave us animals for many reasons, not the least of which is to provide companionship.

The bad news is this cockatoo was abused and mistreated for many years. The good news, a family rescued and loved the bird, and…. Well, read the story to see the result.

For Feather, the 53-year-old cockatoo, life has turned around after spending 15 years alone in a gloomy basement. The bright bird now spends her days wrapped in love as part of a young family, and one special member, in particular, is her favorite.

In the first week of April 2021, Stephanie Vito, who was pregnant with her first child, took Feather to stay at her Pennsylvania home with the intention of finding a suitable sanctuary for the rescue bird at a later date. The very next month, Vito’s baby daughter was born.

4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
