Kudos to Kansas Legislators

Recently the Kansas legislature passed, then overrode vetoes of bills protecting unborn children, defining women as human females, and restricting public bathroom use to that corresponding to a person’s biological sex.

In each case, the Republican led legislature rejected vetoes by Woke Democrat Governor Laura Kelly.

One also must wonder how Kelly; a M.D. can sanction the killing of babies surviving an abortion and be confused about the definition of a woman.

Thanks, and congratulations to the men and women who fought for these culture war wins! Follow the links below to learn more.

Another Red state shows the wisdom of keeping pornography out of public schools.

A bipartisan bill banninghttps://www.lifenews.com/2023/05/25/texas-bill-prohibiting-sexually-explicit-content-in-public-schools-heads-to-governors-desk/ sexually explicit content in public school libraries has passed the Texas Senate and is on its way to the governor’s desk.

HB 900, dubbed The READER Act, specifies what “sexual content” is and prescribes actions by Texas public schools to ensure that children aren’t given access to pornographic, sexually explicit, or other age-inappropriate materials.

High School Boys Revolt After Trans Addition to Bathroom, Take Direct Action Against Woke State Law: Report

We need more young men like these students who said NO! to the transgender incursion in their school.

As transgender insanity continues its march across the country, a group of high school students is making their feelings on the issue known.

We have already seen time and again how high school and college girls have stood up and protested against biological males being allowed into women-only spaces, possibly putting them in danger; now it’s the high school boys’ turn.

Earlier this week, photos emerged of a protest that male students at Lakeridge High School in Oregon made against the state’s “Menstrual Dignity Act” or 2021’s HB 3294, which required public schools to put female hygiene dispensers in all bathrooms, including the boy’s bathrooms.

Georgia School District Reinstates, Pays Six Figures to Teacher Fired for Objecting to Gay Parents in Children’s Book

This teacher scores a culture war win by refusing to use an offensive LGBTQ book in her class. We need more teachers like her.

A Christian substitute teacher in Georgia has been reinstated, and the school district agreed to pay over $180,000 in damages and fees to settle a lawsuit that claimed that the teacher, a mother of three, was fired for expressing concerns about pictures of gay parents in a children’s book.

Lindsey Barr, a former full-time early-childhood-education teacher in Bryan County, Ga., started working as a substitute teacher in the Savannah-area district in January 2022 after her youngest son started kindergarten. Barr was fired in August, after she expressed concerns to the principal of her kids’ school about a picture book with two drawings of what appear to be gay parents. The school librarian intended to read the book to students, including Barr’s sons.

4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4–7 ESV)
