The War on Children is real and intensifying. We can interconnect many culture war fronts with the War on Children. Undermining parental rights, the LGBTQ agenda including grooming and transgender activism; education wars, including Critical Race Theory, the false history of the 1619 Project, woke and leftist teachers; and the sexualization of our children, including pedophilia.

The first post in this series I looked at the history of the war on children, defined it and the objectives of this attack on our children, identified the aggressors, and introduced the battlefronts in this war.

In the second post we considered how the war on children is being waged in education, primarily in our public schools.

The third post showed how parental rights are under attack from public school indoctrination, state, local and the federal governments.

In this post, we consider the most evil and insidious threat in the war on children, aggressive attempts to sexualize children.

The Sexual Revolution and the War on Children 

We find the seeds for the sexualization of our children in the “sexual revolution.”

In Primal Screams, Mary Eberstadt identifies the birth control pill as the transforming agent fueling the sexual revolution. The widespread introduction of “the Pill” resulted in both social change and radical change in sexual behavior.

Jennifer Roback Morse identifies the main ideas of the sexual revolution in The Sexual State.

First, by separating sex from childbearing sex becomes all about self-gratification. Once this becomes the norm, sex in all forms, including the deviant, are allowed. We see this in the mainstreaming of homosexuality and same sex marriage and increasing incidents of pedophilia.

Second, commitment to marriage is no longer necessary, or at least its importance diminishes. Cohabitation is permissible and common. And, if you want to marry, fine. But no-fault divorce makes it easy to break the bond. If you tire of one spouse, try another and then another. Marriage is no longer for life and serial marriage may be preferable.

Unfortunately, in all these relationships, any resulting children are collateral damage and the ones who suffer the most.

Third, the rise of gender ideology.

… an individual may discover his or her true sexual identity regardless of what gender has been “assigned” to them at birth. If the individual isn’t comfortable with this gender, he or she may, indeed should, take steps to alter the body so as to live in accordance with his or her true sexual identity. They shouldn’t take steps to become more comfortable with their biological sex. This would be a betrayal of their true identity. (Location 563.)

Thus, gender confusion is no longer “gender dysphoria,” a condition needing care and treatment. Instead, we are to provide “gender affirming care.” Otherwise, current attempts to normalize transgenderism can’t be right.

In sum, the fruit of the sexual revolution include:

• The Pill and hook up society
• No-fault divorces
• Abortion on demand
• Non marital cohabitation
• Non childbearing
• Same sex marriage
• LGBTQ—Transgenderism
• Sexual ethics are whatever you want them to be. Anything goes if you like it.

Normalizing Pedophilia

This any kind of sex is permissible mind-set has created a devastating minefield of sexualization for our children.

I will begin this post by exposing an often ignored, swept under the rug, problem that is raging in our schools. Pedophilia.

Don’t worry, I will not ignore the threats posed by the LGBTQ agenda and the advocates of transgenderism. For the moment, imagine that those perversions were not the flavor of the day in our public schools and consider the sexual predation of the pedophile.

Hardly a week goes by without the local news in Kansas City, MO reporting on inappropriate sexual behavior or advances by a teacher or other school employee. I suspect the same is true nationwide.

Following are some examples to document this point. Click on the links to read the details.

Pedophiles Are Proliferating in Our Schools

First, some alarming statistics:

Stop Educator Sexual Abuse Misconduct & Exploitation (SESAME), a nonprofit that works to stop childhood sexual abuse by teachers and other school employees, discloses that in 2015, about 3.5 million 8th-11th grade students, or nearly 7% of those surveyed divulged that they had experienced “physical sexual contact from an adult” (most often a teacher or coach). The type of physical contact ranged from “unwanted touching of their body, all the way up to sexual intercourse.” Even worse, the statistic increases to about 4.5 million children (10%) when other types of sexual misconduct are taken into consideration, such as being shown pornography or being subjected to sexually explicit language or exhibitionism. SESAME also explains that one child sex offender can have as many as 73 victims in their lifetime.

This article also provides a not uncommon example of how offenders are dealt with in many school districts.

One might assume that these disgusting perverts would be rounded up, fired, and incarcerated, but all too often, that doesn’t happen. Most recently, Eric Burgess, a high school English teacher in Rosemead, CA was found to have repeatedly groomed students for sex and had sexual relationships with female students over a 20-year period. Infuriatingly, he was allowed to resign without admitting to any wrongdoing and continued to receive his salary for another six months. The settlement agreement bars Burgess from working in the school district, but he can be employed elsewhere, and district officials agreed to provide a “content neutral” reference if he applies for a teaching job in another district.

One Arrested Every Day Since January 1, 2022

More information on the prevalence of sexual abuse by educators.

Chasmar found that “at least 135 teachers and teachers’ aides have been arrested in 41 states between January 1 and May 13, which works out to about an arrest a day on average.” The story quotes Erika Sanzi, Director of Outreach for Parents Defending Education, as saying that “the issue of teacher sex crimes against students needs to be more thoroughly examined by the federal government. She cited the Department of Education’s 2004 report, which claimed that nearly 9.6% of students are targets of educator sexual misconduct sometime during their school career.”

And now, the Left Moves to Normalize Pedophilia

While the previous articles cited document the extent of the problem, this article shows how the Left is attempting to normalize pedophilia.

The Post Millennial reported recently that “a professional counselor who works with incarcerated sex offenders defended pedophiles as a ‘marginalized’ minority in a recent YouTube upload, sparking criticism as clips from the video went viral on social media.” Miranda Galbreath, who is a licensed sex therapist, posted a video which is, at least for now, unavailable. It was entitled “Let’s talk about minor-attracted persons.” In it, Galbreath advocates for the use of the term “minor attracted people,” and claims that the term “pedophile,” is a “judgmental, hurtful insult.” She says that pedophiles are “the most vilified population of folks.”

Galbreath is not alone in trying to normalize pedophilia. She is just one part of a much larger push. As far back as October 2014, the New York Times published an op-ed entitled “Pedophilia: A Disorder, Not A Crime.” Those who would dismiss that on the basis of its having been an op-ed and not a news article, and thus not necessarily reflecting the position of the Times itself, should investigate when the Times last published an op-ed arguing that Islam was not a religion of peace, and that jihad terrorists were inspired by texts and teachings of the Qur’an itself. The Times has, of course, never published such an op-ed, and never would. But normalizing pedophilia? That fits in just fine with the Times’ agenda.

Transgender Professor Rebrands Pedophiles as ‘Minor-Attracted Persons’

And, of course, leftist academia is on the bandwagon of making pedophilia normal.

The latest attempt to normalize pedophilia comes from Allyn Walker, an assistant professor at Old Dominion University who uses the nonsensical pronouns “they/them” and has advocated for pedophilia to be “destigmatized,” calling for pedophiles to instead be referred to with the insultingly euphemistic term “minor attracted persons.”

The LGBTQ Agenda and the War on Children 

Just what is the LGBTQ agenda as it relates to the war on children? Here are some of their primary objectives.

• Expose young children to sexual perversions, including homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgenderism.
• They don’t ignore heterosexual sex. In fact, they make it sound like the normal thing to do whenever you want to do it.
• Make these alternative sexual behaviors acceptable in the minds of children, drawing them away from Christian moral teachings.
• Diminish the role of parents and family.
• Recruit children to these perverse lifestyles (Grooming).

I could give you dozens of examples of how the Biden administration is supporting and implementing the trans gendering of children. Below are just a few examples.

Biden Urges Congress to ‘Restore Soul of This Nation’ by Expanding Abortion, Transgenderism in SOTU

Let’s begin with what “good Catholic” Joe Biden said in his recent State of the Union address.

The president also urged Congress to “pass the bipartisan Equality Act to ensure LGBTQ Americans, especially transgender young people, can live with safety and dignity.” The bill, a longstanding goal of the LGBT lobby, would amend landmark civil rights acts to equate sexual orientation and gender identity with race, sex, and religion. It effectively places homosexuality and transgender status above religious liberty by denying protections of the Religious Freedom Restoration Act (RFRA). The extreme bill, once supported by Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) and former House Speaker Paul Ryan, “would eradicate freedom of thought, conscience, and belief — resulting in the penalization of anyone who disagrees with the ideologies,” wrote Mary Beth Waddell, director of Federal Affairs for Family and Religious Liberty at the Family Research Council.

By the way, passaging the so-called Equality Act will open the door for the widespread persecution of Christians, Muslims, and others who hold to biblical teaching on sexuality.

Normalizing the ‘Trans Children’ Agenda

If the following quotation doesn’t get your attention and raise your hackles, you probably shouldn’t be reading this blog.

The ACLU and the Biden administration are on a fast track to normalize the transgender agenda, and this spells big trouble for the future. Unless this trend is met with the most fanatical form of Viva La Resistance, every child in the near future will chose his or her gender the same way that they now shop for Lego models. This means that in the new world sites like Gender.com for kids may become the “go to” spot for your favorite granddaughter. The situation is really that bad, and it is getting worse.

Biden’s Trans-in-Chief Richard (Rachel) Levine

U.S. Assistant Secretary of health, “Rachel” Levine, is in the forefront of pushing the transgender agenda for the Biden administration. That Levine, a man who thinks he is a woman, is biased in his opinions and statements regarding anything transgender, is a given. But is he telling the truth?

Levine has said that puberty blockers are perfectly safe and even needed for gender-confused children. “Gender-affirming care is lifesaving, medically necessary, age appropriate, and a critical tool for healthcare providers,” he recently asserted. This idea is ludicrous. As the pushback has gotten more ferocious, more and more disturbing evidence is coming to light about just how wrong Levine is.

A puberty blocker administered to girls going through “transition” just had a warning issued against it by the FDA. In young girls ages 5-12, there have been instances of brain swelling and tumor-like growth called pseudotumor cerebri. This has serious side effects ranging from headaches and vomiting to vision disturbances and vision loss. This crazy train of gender ideology is leading our children off the rails. It’s up to us, the voting and cognizant adults, to try to right this for them before it’s too late.

Medical Experts Agree to Disagree on Levine’s Latest Lie

Anyone who’s followed the latest culture wars understands that there’s not a lot of consensus between the two sides, especially on the LGBT front. So, the idea that anyone — least of all Joe Biden’s second-in-command at HHS — would suddenly declare that there’s absolute agreement on the Democrats’ unpopular agenda to transgender children is unbelievable, even from this administration. It’s also news to medical experts across the disciplines, who didn’t waste any time setting the record straight.

“There is no argument among medical professionals,” the man who identifies as Rachel Levine insisted, “about the value and the importance of gender-affirming care.” “Pediatricians, pediatric endocrinologists, adolescent medicine physicians, adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists,” Levine told NPR, they all agree “about the value and the importance of gender-affirming care.”

Turns out, they don’t all agree — including some of the pioneering doctors of the transgender movement. Just two weeks before Levine’s absurd lie, Dr. Erica Anderson, who underwent a radical operation himself, openly told reporters he was horrified at the rush to push children down this path. “I have these private thoughts: ‘This has gone too far. It’s going to get worse. I don’t want any part of it,” he said. Despite being “on the forefront of transgender care” and undergoing surgery in his late 50s, he strongly believes the pendulum has swung “to an extreme.”

Public Schools & Libraries Engage in the War on Children

In this section, I want to show how our public schools are involved in the explicit sexualization of our children. Here are some things happening in our public schools we should be concerned about.

• Teachers undergoing mandatory gender theory training.
• Policies prohibiting teachers from telling parents if their child wants to be called by a name usually reserved to the opposite sex, or they want to identify as a different sex.
• Explicit sex education at early ages, including homosexual and transgender topics.
• Teachers opposing parent’s rights to know what their children are being taught or influencing curriculum.
• Celebrations of “Pride Month” and drag queen shows for the kids.

The articles and posts shared below provide clear evidence of how our public schools are promoting the sexualization of our children. Click the links to read the details.

Arizona Teacher Tells Lawmakers That Parents Are Unqualified to Oppose LGBT Propaganda in Classrooms

I begin this part of the post with an example of how many public-school teachers view the role of parents in the education of their children.

The Arizona legislature is debating Senate Bill 1700, that supports parental rights and restricts the dissemination of sexually inappropriate materials to their students. Read what our representative teacher told the committee.

[Special education teacher Alicia Messing’s view is], education is about socialization—and giving parents veto power over LGBT curricula contradicts that goal. In fact, Messing stated that parents are not qualified to determine what their children are taught.

“I have a masters’ degree because when I got certified, I was told I had to have a masters’ degree to be an Arizona-certified teacher,” she told the committee. “What do the parents have?” (Here one might reasonably respond: “The children.”)

So, according to Messing and many like her, parents should not have a say in the education of their children. Obviously, teachers know better what the kids need. With this kind of thinking, it is no wonder that public schools are all-in on the war on children and their sexualization.

Teachers’ union resorts to smear tactics in ad to demonize parents who object to LGBT agenda 

The teacher cited above is not alone.

But getting in between parents and their children are what these activist educators are all about. The latest example of this comes from the New Jersey branch of the National Education Association, the most powerful teachers’ union in America. In response to parents showing up at school board meetings to demand explanations about what their children are being taught, the union is running an advertisement condemning these concerned mothers and fathers as “extremists.”

Pennsylvania Encourages Schools to Use ‘Gender Neutral’ Pronouns, Gender Theory Lessons

This is happening in school districts across the nation.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education is promoting the use of “gender neutral” pronouns by students and suggests several lesson plans to teachers to discuss gender theory in classrooms.

A “Creating Gender-Inclusive Schools and Classrooms” page on the department’s website lists several “gender-neutral” pronouns, including “ne, ve, ze/zie and xe.” The page also asks teachers to ask students which pronouns they prefer to use in the classroom. The pronouns appear on a list of “words you should know,” along with “cisgender,” “assigned gender,” and “genderqueer,” and defines “binary gender” as a “faulty concept that there are only two genders: male and female.”

In addition to listing the pronouns, the page also recommends several lesson plans to teachers and links to articles that discuss gender theory.

Sexual Liberation in Public Schools

It should not be a surprise that the Los Angeles Unified School District has adopted pro-LGBTQ policies. Unfortunately for our children, this is becoming more common in many school districts.

Los Angeles Unified School District has adopted a radical gender-theory curriculum encouraging teachers to work toward the “breakdown of the gender binary,” to experiment with gender pronouns such as “they,” “ze,” and “tree,” and to adopt “trans-affirming” programming to make their classrooms “queer all school year.”

Radical Gender Theory Comes to the Heartland

You may think that public school sexualization of children is confined to left leaning states on both coasts of the U.S. Not true. The war on children affects our kids even in the most Red states, even in the heartland of America. Consider what is happening in Springfield, Missouri, on the edge of the Bible Belt.

Springfield Public Schools, the largest public school district in Missouri, has adopted a radical gender-theory training program that encourages teachers to believe that “gender is a universe” and to affirm sexual identities such as “non-binary,” “pansexual,” and “polyamorous.”

Pride Month Sees Spike in Drag Queen Events for Children

Schools and public libraries across the U.S. have stepped up their participation in the sexualization of children.

A growing number of “family-friendly” drag queen story hours and dance performances open to children are becoming a mainstay of June Pride Month celebrations.

ALA Guide to Grooming Young Readers

If you want to know how to bring the LGBTQ agenda to your public library, just follow the guidelines provided by the American Library Association.

The American Library Association has some advice for small-town librarians about how to subvert community standards. Excerpts:

Do you work for a library in a small, rural, conservative community? Are you a frontline staff member there, with no managerial or administrative authority? Do you wish you could do more to make your library more inclusive to the LGBTQIA+ community, but meet with resistance?

Christian Teacher Fired Because She ‘Cannot Be Dishonest with Parents’

This is one example of many similar stories about what happens when you, a teacher, refuse to submit to the sexualization of children in your classroom. This woman stands firm in her faith, needs our prayers, and deserves our praise. We must expect more attacks on Christians who stand up against those who pursue the war on children.

The cost of following Christ just hit home in a new way for one California teacher who was fired for refusing to tell lies about biological reality or hide student’s gender transitions from their parents. Jurupa Unified School District served physical education teacher Jessica Tapia, mother of three, with a Notice of Unprofessional Conduct for not embracing the district’s new polices promoting transgender identities and, on January 31, fired her after determining it could not accommodate her religious beliefs.

Doctors and Hospitals Engage in the War on Children 

We would like to believe that the doctors and medical institutions we trust subscribe to the “Do No Harm” code. However, as the next several articles show, this is not always the case when implementing the transgender agenda.

Sex Change for Children Should Be a Line in the Sand Trans

This is just one of several hospitals that provide sex altering surgeries on children.

Boston Children’s Hospital offers “a full suite of surgical options for transgender teens and young adults,” according to its website. As if it’s the most routine medical procedure, a woman doctor cheerfully explains on an official video from the hospital:

A gender-affirming hysterectomy is very similar to most hysterectomies that occur. Hysterectomy itself is the removal of the uterus, the cervix — which is the opening of the uterus — and the fallopian tubes, which are attached to the sides of the uterus.

We aim to make every patient feel heard and valued.

What Happened to ‘Do No Harm’? A Nurse’s Firsthand Look at the Transgender Craze

Sacrificing the future of children to the idol of money?

Doctors and providers who have sworn an oath to “do no harm” are quite literally harming a generation of adolescents who erroneously believe they were born into the wrong body. The social contagion known as transgender ideology has swept across our nation, and the overwhelming majority of people in my career field would rather watch as teenage girls get double mastectomies than risk speaking out and endangering their lucrative jobs.

Matt Walsh: Pro-Trans U.S. Pediatricians Group Are Activists ‘Masquerading as a Medical Organization’

The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is an “activist group masquerading as a medical organization,” according to Daily Wire commentator Matt Walsh.

“On the AAP website you can find their policy statement on ‘Ensuring Comprehensive Care and Support for Transgender and Gender-Diverse Children and Adolescents,’” Walsh wrote in reference to an October 2018 article on the pediatrics group’s website. “The whole thing reads like a trans activism manifesto, not a medical guide.”
