Censors Come for P.G. Wodehouse

It’s hard to find a more enjoyable read than something by P.G. Wodehouse. That is until the Woke censors have taken a red pen to his writings. Wodehouse joins mystery author Agatha Christie, and children’s book author Roald Dahl (Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory) among those recently found unfit for consumption without needless revisions.

Not even Jeeves could save Bertie this time. The censors have come for P.G. Wodehouse, the greatest comic author of the last century. His publisher is rewriting some of his books, including books from the iconic “Jeeves and Wooster” series, to excise content deemed offensive to modern readers.

The True Definition of ‘Woke’ Is ‘Anti-Thought’

If you’re confused about the meaning of “Woke” this essay is worth reading.

Well, here’s my synonym for “woke”: anti-thought.

And here’s my definition: mob and media-enforced group think.

The main ingredient of wokeness is intolerance for free speech. Speech is how we express our thoughts to others. So, ultimately, wokeness leads to social isolation, which is a precursor to tyranny.

Former Principal Loses Superintendent Job for Calling Women ‘Ladies’

This is an excellent example of how far our culture has fallen into the morass of Woke, DEI and political correctness. Read the article to understand why I make this claim. But hold your nose while reading because this just stinks!

Perrone announced publicly that the board had rescinded their offer in an executive session because he had committed a “microaggression” by sending an email to the Easthampton School Committee Chair Cynthia Kwiecinski and the committee’s Executive Assistant Suzanne Colby in which he addressed them with the greeting as “Dear Ladies.”

Dutch Expand Euthanasia to Children Ages One to Twelve

The Netherlands adopted assisted suicide in 2001. Euthanasia of adults soon began the slippery slope to today, where adults and minors can be legally murdered (a.k.a. euthanized). Can this happen in the United States? Well, our neighbor to the north, Canada, is on the same glide path. And with more of our states adopting and considering assisted suicide laws, what do you think?

Once euthanasia is accepted by a society, it is a one-way street, continually expanding the killable castes.

The Dutch already allowed euthanasia for ages twelve and up. Now, it is down to age one. From the NTD New story:

The Netherlands has said it will broaden its euthanasia regulations to allow doctors the ability to end the lives of terminally ill children between one and 12 years old.

The rule change involves the government adjusting an existing protocol, and does not require parliamentary approval. The decision comes after years of requests from some Dutch doctors to lower the age limit of 12 for euthanasia, as well as debate within the cabinet.

According to the Dutch government, “The end of life for this [age] group is the only reasonable alternative to the child’s unbearable and hopeless suffering.”

Nike Is Taking Corporate Wokeness to a New Level by Funding LGBT Child Grooming

Nike has a new understanding of their motto: Just Do It

Well, Nike along with Anheuser-Busch (Bud Light) are no longer on my shopping list.

Far more offensively, though, was Mulvaney’s deal with Nike. Mulvaney is a man. He has no breasts. That didn’t stop Nike from hiring Mulvaney from modeling women’s clothing, including leggings and a sports bra. It is hard not to see Nike’s move as a deliberate provocation — they’ve been a woke corporation for some time, as thus it was probably a safe move for them as those angered by the posts are not their target demographic, anyway.

10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand firm.

14 Stand therefore, having fastened on the belt of truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and, as shoes for your feet, having put on the readiness given by the gospel of peace. 16 In all circumstances, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; 17 and take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, 18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints, 19 and also for me, that words may be given to me in opening my mouth boldly to proclaim the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains, that I may declare it boldly, as I ought to speak. (Ephesians 6:10–20 ESV)
