It is time for some good news. Yes, the culture war rages. But God is still in control and there is much good news to rejoice about.

Couple Drove into Planned Parenthood for Abortion, but Got a Pro-Life Brochure and Chose Life

Is it worth the time of pro-lifers to pray and offer counsel outside abortion clinics? Ask this couple and their new baby. They heard the good news that their unborn baby was a person needing their love, not death.

A Sarasota, Florida, couple arrived at Planned Parenthood, circled the parking lot, and headed toward the exit.

But before leaving, they stopped to talk with a 40 Days for Life participant, who offered them a brochure, directed them to the pregnancy center, and confirmed that they chose life!

Students Raise $270K for 80-Year-Old Janitor to Retire After He Had to Rejoin Workforce

These days we hear many stories about the failure of public schools. At least in one high school, the students show they’ve learned some good things about caring for others.

The students of one Texas high school have stepped up to ensure that their school’s janitor receives the retirement he deserves.

Some students at Callisburg High School in northern Texas were saddened to see that an elderly man had come out of retirement to fill the role of the school’s janitor in January, according to KXII-TV.

Many students recognized that it wasn’t right that an 80-year-old man had to perform arduous labor because he couldn’t afford to be retired anymore.

Woman With Dementia, 85, Forgets Herself but Not Her Beloved Husband: ‘He’s My Guy!’

A good news story about love so deep that dementia can’t destroy it.

An elderly New Yorker with late-stage dementia often forgets herself, but she never fails to recognize her beloved husband of 63 years and has even coined a catchphrase: “He’s my guy!” The couple has unwittingly become a viral sensation since their son began sharing sweet moments from their family home on social media.

‘Finish Like Judy!’ 96-Year-Old Swimmer and Gold Medalist Shares Her Secret to Health

This lady is an example for all of us as we age.

A lifelong swimmer who is still competing at the age of 96 has become an inspiration for not allowing her age to stop her from taking home gold.

Pink on Her Career and Becoming a Mom

A good news story of a pop music star who is devoted to her family.

Pop-punk music stars are known for flaunting social conventions. In today’s climate, that is what Pink is now doing. While other famous people in the music and movie industries talk about parenthood as a career-killing disease or a status reached by paying other people—like surrogates doing the work for you—Pink is living the opposite. Hers, like all children, are a gift worth more than any career, even international stardom.

4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again, I will say, rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4–7 ESV)
